July 16, What?

This week went by so fast. All I have to say is what.

We started off with exchanges on Tuesday, so I went on out to Zaragoza for the day with Elder Black, who is a super awesome guy. And we had a pretty great day working out there.

Elder Reyes and I have been getting along much better now. Little by little our relationship improves and with that, the success in our area has been going up. This week we had a whopping 13 investigators in church. Our gospel principles class had 17 people. (which usually only has 3 or 4). So church as a whole this week was just a really awesome and uplifting experience.

We are also helping two girls move toward baptism. Their names are Kelly and Evelynn. They are twins, and are looking for a better relationship with their family. And the gospel is a great way to find that greater unity within the home. So we are working with them with the date for the 28th of this month here in july. Its very exciting. The time here in the mission seems to go exponentially faster. I cant even begin to understand or comprehend how it goes so fast. But when you work hard the days melt together.

I love you all so much. Thanks for the support and everything. Stay awesome.

July 9 The Refiners Fire is REAL

This has been a rough week. My companion and I havent been getting along the greatest, and is really just pushing me out of my comfort zoen and making me change. And change is just never comfortable. But what can I do other than keep working. Gotta just keep pushing on.

Well nothing super interesting happened this week overall here in Allende. We went to a little town in our area called Rio Bravo this past wednesday, and found some really cool people. We found an inactive family who lives there with several super cool kids who were kind enough to listen to us and our message. But the problem with traveling to these other little towns in our area is that they dont come to church because its far away. But we have to keep pushing forward, and do what we gotta do.

Im sorry but I just dont have much to say today. But I still love you all and wish the best for you all. Keep doing what youre doing.

Love,
Elder Smith
